Norman Powell scored 25 points and Bam Adebayo returned with 20 to help the Miami Heat pull away in the fourth quarter, defeating the depleted Golden State Warriors 110-96 on Wednesday night at Kaseya Center.

Andrew Wiggins added 17 points and Kel’el Ware grabbed 16 rebounds as Miami outscored Golden State 38-22 in the decisive fourth quarter. Miami also converted 34 points off 23 Golden State turnovers, capitalizing on the Warriors’ mistakes throughout the game.

The Warriors were without their four highest-paid players—Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, and Jonathan Kuminga—plus Al Horford, severely limiting their rotation during the final game of a six-game, nine-day road trip. Brandin Podziemski led Golden State with 20 points, Quinten Post added 19, and Buddy Hield scored 18.

Miami jumped to an early 20-4 lead, its largest first-quarter deficit of the season for Golden State, before the Warriors fought back to take a 60-59 lead midway through the third. A 21-4 run by the Heat late in the third and early in the fourth ultimately sealed the game.

Adebayo, returning from a six-game absence due to a toe injury, recorded seven rebounds and three assists, providing stability alongside Powell and Wiggins. Miami shot 41% overall and 37% from three, while Golden State finished at 36% and 27% from deep in a low-efficiency matchup.

The game marked Miami’s ninth win in 15 games and reinforced the team’s ability to capitalize on opponent turnovers and maintain defensive pressure against a depleted roster. Powell’s scoring and Ware’s rebounding anchored Miami’s late-game dominance.

Golden State struggled to sustain momentum, with the bench unable to compensate for missing stars. Despite strong performances from Podziemski and Post, the Warriors’ limited roster depth proved decisive against a more balanced Heat team.

Miami will visit Chicago on Friday, while Golden State returns home to host Portland, both teams seeking to adjust ahead of their next matchups.
