Brooklyn Nets rookie Drake Powell discussed his versatility/role adaptability as a basketball player following Sunday’s 134-98 road loss vs. the New York Knicks (15 points/2 rebounds/3 assists/1 steal/1 block/5-8 FG/3-3 3-PT/2-2 FT in 23 minutes off the bench).

(via YES Network):

“I think just growing up, I always wanted to be able to be a versatile player — someone that’s able to fit in any role and just being able to excel at that role. So the role that I was given at North Carolina, I thought that I was able to excel in that role and it’s just ultimately what the coaches asked me to do. And here now, just being able to continue to trust my myself and trust my versatility — I think that’s the biggest thing.”
