The Indiana Pacers finally broke through on Saturday night, earning their first win of the season with a 114-109 victory over the Golden State Warriors at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Quenton Jackson scored 25 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter, as the Pacers (1-5) overcame an 11-point deficit to end their five-game losing streak. Aaron Nesmith poured in 31 points, and Pascal Siakam added 27 to pace Indiana’s short-handed rotation.

Stephen Curry led Golden State (4-3) with 24 points, while Jimmy Butler finished with 20 and Jonathan Kuminga had 17. The Warriors built an 88-82 lead entering the fourth quarter but were unable to close it out.

Jackson took control late, knocking down a three-pointer with 1:09 remaining to give Indiana a 109-107 edge. After Butler’s dunk tied the score, Siakam responded with a timely three from the right wing to make it 112-109. Jackson sealed the win with a pull-up jumper in the final seconds.

The Pacers, playing without several key contributors, relied heavily on energy and ball movement. Siakam and Nesmith combined for 58 points on 22-of-42 shooting, while Jackson provided the spark they needed in crunch time.

Indiana entered the night without Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, Andrew Nembhard, Obi Toppin, and T.J. McConnell — all sidelined due to injuries. Despite the absences, the Pacers shot 44.9% from the field and 85.7% from the free-throw line while outrebounding Golden State 47-44.

Curry carried the Warriors early, scoring 18 in the first half as Golden State took a 58-55 lead at the break. Brandin Podziemski added 16 points off the bench, including 10 in the third quarter that helped the Warriors surge ahead.

But Indiana’s defensive pressure and rebounding turned the momentum in the final period. The Pacers held Golden State to 21 fourth-quarter points and forced timely stops in the final two minutes.

Isaiah Jackson contributed 10 points and eight rebounds, while rookie Jarace Walker grabbed nine boards and dished out five assists in 30 minutes. The Pacers’ bench added 32 points, led by Jeremiah Robinson-Earl’s six and Tony Bradley’s solid rebounding.

The win offered a much-needed boost for Indiana, which had struggled to close out games in October. With Siakam setting the tone and Jackson delivering in the clutch, the Pacers finally turned effort into results.

Up next, Indiana will host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. The Warriors return home to face the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
