Ryan Rollins: It’s a lot more money out there being given out

Milwaukee Bucks guard Ryan Rollins says that he isn’t getting too far ahead of himself after signing a three-year, $12 million deal over the summer (averaging 18.6 PPG/3.6 RPG/5.0 APG/2.4 SPG/52.4% FG/58.3% 2-PT/44.4% 3-PT/88.2% FT/2.0 TOV/3.0 PF/31.0 MPG/+5.8 +/- through five games).

Reporter: “You had talked to us before the season and said that the contract you signed, it wasn’t gonna remove the chip from your shoulder. You were still going to play with the same tenacity, the same edge. Clearly, you’re doing that. But how have you been able to kinda do that, maintain that focus, and not get ahead of yourself or anything like that?”

Rollins: “Just looking at the big picture of it: it’s a lot more money out there that they giving out, a lot more opportunities. So it’s just the start for me, man. That’s how I look at it. It’s just a good platform for me to get situated, and then I just grow from there. Keep doing what I do that got me here and just keep growing.”
