Ryan Rollins is staying in Milwaukee after agreeing to a three-year, $12 million contract that includes a player option in the final season, per NBA insider Shams Charania.
The 22-year-old guard joined the Bucks in February 2024 on a two-way deal before earning a standard contract in March. He finished the 2024–25 season as a key rotation piece and became an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Rollins’ new contract rewards his progress after appearing in 56 games for Milwaukee last season, including 19 starts. He averaged 6.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 14.6 minutes per game while shooting 48.7% from the field and 40.8% from three-point range.
He also made his playoff debut this spring, logging three games and one start. Despite limited minutes, he provided shooting and defensive versatility off the bench.
Originally drafted in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, Rollins played briefly for both the Warriors and Washington Wizards before landing in Milwaukee.
In his short stint with the Bucks, he established himself as a reliable reserve guard capable of spacing the floor and guarding multiple positions.
The new deal provides Milwaukee with roster stability in the backcourt while keeping Rollins under team control through at least the 2025–26 season if he exercises his player option.
