Here’s Milwaukee Bucks veteran Taurean Prince on what keeps him motivated at this point (returned from neck surgery earlier this week).

(via Milwaukee Bucks):

“That’s a good question. Proving myself right in a lot of scenarios. In this league, you can easily get down on yourself. You can gain confidence; and you can lose it as quick as you gain it. So, I think just proving myself right that I belong. I know I’ve been here ten years, but anything can happen and I just work as if I’m a rookie really, honestly. That’s what keeps me motivated.

“I’ve heard since day one, there’s 60 guys every new year. So to me, I just refuse to let 60 guys take my spot in this league on my time. And so, that’s what motivates me. And obviously my children, my son. My sons and my daughter, they’re just so young and they keep me young mentally in a lot of areas and just my family and proving myself right.”
