Collin Sexton: “At the end of the day, we’re trying to win and get to the playoffs”

Here’s Charlotte Hornets guard Collin Sexton on embracing his role as a leader this season.

“I would say at the end of the day, that was something that Coach (Charles Lee) wanted me to do from day one. I know the first conversation we had, he was like, ‘I need a lot from you and I want you to lead the guys.’ And I was like, ‘I got you.’ At the end of the day, whatever the team needs — I’m gonna do it. Whatever role that they put me in, I’m gonna be able to respond. At the end of the day, we’re trying to win and get to the playoffs and get to the promised land. Everyone gotta do their job and everybody has to play a role into that.”
