The Portland Trail Blazers have waived MarJon Beauchamp, Andrew Carr, and Liam Robbins, according to Keith Smith. All three had joined the Blazers on non-guaranteed training camp deals.
Beauchamp, a 6-foot-6 guard, spent last season with the Bucks, Clippers, and Knicks. Across 135 career NBA games, he averaged 4.1 points and 1.9 rebounds while shooting 35.4% from three-point range.
Robbins, a 7-foot center, appeared in 13 games for Milwaukee in 2024–25 and was part of the Bucks’ 2024 NBA Cup-winning roster. The former Vanderbilt player offers size and rim protection, and his professional career overcame a major early injury.
Carr, a 6-foot-9 forward, spent five seasons in college basketball, including a final “super senior” year at Kentucky. He averaged 10.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 54.4% from the field and 32.4% from three. Carr also participated in the Blazers’ Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging 3.0 points and 2.6 rebounds over 12.2 minutes per game.
All three players joined Portland on Exhibit 10 or non-guaranteed contracts, which allow teams to waive players while offering potential G League bonuses. In Carr’s case, he is expected to transition to the Rip City Remix, Portland’s G League affiliate, where he could earn up to $85,300 for staying at least 60 days.
Exhibit 10 contracts and camp deals are commonly used by NBA teams to expand competition and identify players who can contribute at the G League level or earn a call-up during the season.
