Kevon Looney: We wanna make the playoffs, not the play-in

New Orleans Pelicans big man Kevon Looney says that the group has aspirations of being a top-six seed out West.

“That’s our goal is to be a playoff team. Not even play-in. We wanna be right in the playoffs, right in the mix. We’ve got the talent to do that. We’ve got the coaching staff to do that. We’ve just got to go out there and execute. Being healthy is a big part of that for every NBA team, so that’s gon’ be a big part of it. But we feel like we have the talent, the IQ, the athleticism to really be a playoff team and make some noise in the Western Conference. It’s not gon’ be easy, but we feel like we’re right there, we’ve got the talent, and we’re ready to make that next step.”
