
The Timberwolves have added an experienced 6-foot-8 on their roster, agreeing to a one-year training camp deal, per Shams Charania.
Johnson can contribute to the table with his five years of experience, as he played for multiple NBA teams such as the Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, Washington Wizards, and San Antonio Spurs.
He played recently for the Kawasaki Brave Thunders in Japan’s B.League.
The 29-year-old was known for his motor skills, and he was an effective role player due to his rebounding and versatility on the floor. He was also an asset since he was obtained as a low-cost option.
Johnson had his best performancence with the Brooklyn Nets as he recorded 20 points and 21 boards in a single game. With 76 games in the NBA, he averaged 2.7 points and three boards per game , while shooting 48.1% in the field.
