Ever so often, Stephen Curry wins the award voted on by coaches, players, the media, and many more fans. In the 2015-2016 season, the four-time champion earned the unanimous MVP, making him the first player to achieve this by securing every first-place vote.

As the NBA season begins in less than a month, ESPN conducted a poll of executives around the league regarding various topics, in which Curry was voted as the best American NBA player, with a three-vote lead than the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards.

Tim Bontempts emphasized that if Jayson Tatum were included, it might affect the entire result. The Boston Celtics star is expected to miss the upcoming season due to his torn Achilles injury in last year’s postseason stint.

The 37-year-old Curry is about to enter his 17th season and has just acquired the honor of being the best American player in the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors fans look forward to his fifth ring as they believe it is possible after averaging 24.5 points, six assists, and 4.4 boards in the last season.
