The Denver Nuggets have agreed to a deal with center Moses Brown, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Brown, 24, finished last season with the Dallas Mavericks, where he averaged 11.8 points and 7.8 rebounds across four games. Before that stint, he dominated the G League with the Westchester Knicks, posting 17.9 points, 15.7 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per contest.
The 7-foot-2 big man has bounced around the league since entering as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He has played for nine NBA franchises, including Oklahoma City, Cleveland, Portland, and the Clippers, while also making multiple returns to the G League.
One of his most notable performances came in April 2025 when he set a G League playoff record with 26 rebounds for Westchester against the Maine Celtics.
Across 163 NBA games, Brown owns career averages of 5.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in just under 12 minutes per night. His best season came in 2020–21 with the Thunder, when he averaged 8.6 points and 8.9 boards in 43 appearances.
Denver adds him to a frontcourt anchored by Nikola Jokic and veteran Jonas Valanciūnas. With Zeke Nnaji providing additional minutes at center, Brown gives the Nuggets an option for rebounding and rim protection off the bench.
The Nuggets are entering a transition year under new head coach David Adelman after moving on from Michael Malone in April. The front office also shifted leadership roles, with Ben Tenzer and Jon Wallace taking over basketball operations.
Denver had no picks in the 2025 NBA Draft, making free agency and depth signings critical to reshaping the roster. Brown’s arrival adds size and flexibility, particularly as the team looks to balance minutes behind Jokic.
At 7-foot-2 with a 7-foot-4 wingspan, Brown has been most effective as a rebounder and interior finisher. He shot 72.4 percent from the field during his brief stretch in Dallas last season.
