The club from the Costa del Sol is really close to sign both Saul Blanco and Joel Freeland after the announcement of Yorgos Printezis. Fuenlabrada and Malaga are reported to have reached an agreement regarding the buyout of Blanco.
The two clubs have been negotiating for weeks and it seems that they have agreed for a buyout of about 800.000 euro for Saul Blanco.
In the case of Joel Freeland, the player and Unicaja have already reached an agreement weeks ago and the club presented an offer for the player. Gran Canaria though answered by matching the offer (derecho de tanteo), thus keeping the player only to be in the place to get some short of buyout since the islanders do not intend to keep Freeland. The two clubs are now in negociations with Unicaja aiming for Gran Canaria not to match any other offer for the player.
