The Dallas Mavericks are bringing back Jamarion Sharp, finalizing a deal with the 7-foot-5 center after his strong showing in the G League, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Sharp spent last season with the Texas Legends, where he averaged 6.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.2 blocks in 29 appearances. His rim protection made him one of the league’s most impactful defenders, as he ranked among the top shot-blockers in the G League.
He also earned a spot on the NBA G League United Team that competed in the 2025 FIBA Intercontinental Cup. In addition, Sharp returned to the Mavericks for the 2025 NBA Summer League, where he appeared in five games.
The center originally signed with Dallas in August 2024 after going undrafted but was waived before the season. He quickly joined the Legends and became a defensive anchor in Frisco.
During the 2024–25 season, Sharp posted a 61.8 percent field goal rate while continuing to develop his rebounding and paint presence. His ability to alter shots gave the Legends a reliable interior defender.
