The Chicago Bulls have added forward Mouhamadou Gueye to their roster, HoopsHype reported.

Gueye, 27, last played for the Capital City Go-Go in the G League, where he averaged 9.7 points, 5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists across 18 games this season. He shot 55.6% from the field and remained one of the most consistent rim protectors in the league with nearly a block per game.

The Senegalese-American began his professional journey with the Texas Legends in 2022, following a brief stint with the Dallas Mavericks. He later joined Raptors 905, where he posted 13.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks during the 2023–24 campaign, earning consideration for a two-way contract.

Toronto eventually signed him in February 2024, giving Gueye his first NBA opportunity. He appeared in 11 games for the Raptors, averaging 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in just under 11 minutes per contest.

A neck injury in late 2023 slowed his progress, but his defensive presence and athleticism kept him on the radar of NBA scouts. After a short spell with the Washington Wizards during preseason, he continued to build his résumé in the G League.

At 6-foot-9 with a lengthy wingspan, Gueye has built his reputation on energy plays, shot-blocking, and rebounding. His ability to finish around the rim and protect the paint makes him a fit for a Bulls team that has searched for reliable depth in the frontcourt.
