Jeremy Lin and Carmelo Anthony appear to be taking steps toward resolving lingering questions about their relationship from their Knicks days.
Lin revealed that both sides have been in contact regarding a possible appearance on Anthony’s podcast, though he would prefer to speak privately first.
“My desire is still the same. I’d like to have a private conversation before having a public recorded conversation,” Lin said.
Anthony recently invited Lin onto his show, saying he wants to “clear the air” and address stories that have followed them for years.
Lin said he isn’t certain what issues Anthony wants to discuss and doesn’t want to speculate.
“I can guess [what the issues are], but I don’t think it would do Melo justice for me to guess what I think he might mean.”
The former Knicks guard added that a private discussion could help both sides revisit how things ended in New York before any public conversation takes place.
He also plans to attend Games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden.
