Chicago, IL – September 2, 2025 — Chicago’s own Jamal Dixon, a standout basketball player at Simeon Career Academy, has been nominated for the 2025 Youth Athlete of the Year Award, a national honor recognizing young athletes across the country.
Jamal’s nomination highlights his talent on the court, leadership, and the excitement he’s generating among fans, classmates, and the Chicago community. Simeon has a long tradition of producing top athletic talent, and Jamal continues that legacy with his hard work, discipline, and dedication to the game.
