The Charlotte Hornets have unveiled their complete five-game 2025-26 preseason schedule, featuring two home games outside Charlotte. The team will play the reigning NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder at the North Charleston Coliseum on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 5 p.m.

A second regional home game is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 15 against the Memphis Grizzlies at Greensboro’s First Horizon Coliseum at 7 p.m. Tickets for both games are available at hornets.com, ticketmaster.com, and the respective venue websites.

Charlotte will also travel for three preseason matchups. Road games include Oklahoma City on Oct. 9, Dallas on Oct. 11, and New York on Oct. 17. All contests will air on WFNZ (92.7 FM) and stream live via the Hornets App, while the local television broadcast schedule will be announced later.

The preseason marks the start of the Hornets’ 36th NBA season and follows a 2024–25 campaign where the team finished outside the playoffs for the ninth consecutive year.

This year’s preseason roster includes notable additions from the 2025 NBA Draft. Charlotte selected Kon Knueppel with the fourth overall pick and added two second-rounders, Sion James and Ryan Kalkbrenner.

Offseason moves also brought in Spencer Dinwiddie, Collin Sexton, and Pat Connaughton to bolster the backcourt and wing positions.
