A third lime-green dildo was thrown onto the court during a WNBA game Tuesday night.

The object was launched from the stands during the Indiana Fever vs. Los Angeles Sparks matchup at Crypto.com Arena and appeared to graze Fever guard Sophie Cunningham during a second-quarter free throw attempt by Sparks guard Kelsey Plum.

Play stopped momentarily as Plum kicked the sex toy toward the baseline and officials called for its removal.

Cunningham visibly flinched and stepped away, momentarily startled by the object’s proximity.

This latest stunt comes just four days after a similar incident during the Golden State Valkyries vs. Chicago Sky game on August 1, and a week after the first case on July 29, when a dildo was thrown during the fourth quarter of the Atlanta Dream vs. Valkyries game.

The first perpetrator was arrested and now faces prosecution by local authorities, but that has not deterred copycat behavior.

Meanwhile, the gambling world has latched onto the bizarre trend.

Before the August 5 game, sportsbooks had opened novelty betting lines on the color of the “third WNBA dildo,” offering odds on whether the item would again be green or switch to another color like pink, purple, or rainbow.

Despite those wagers, the third dildo was once again neon green — mirroring the exact shade used in the previous two disruptions.
