The Los Angeles Lakers have officially unveiled their 2025 preseason schedule, offering fans a first look at JJ Redick’s squad ahead of the 2025–26 NBA campaign.
The six-game slate begins on October 3 in Palm Desert, where the Lakers will host the Phoenix Suns at 7 p.m.
Two days later, the purple and gold head to Chase Center to face the Golden State Warriors on October 5, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
After a week-long break, Los Angeles returns home to Crypto.com Arena on October 12 for a rematch against Golden State, tipping off at 6:30 p.m.
The Lakers then play on back-to-back nights, traveling to Phoenix on October 14 before meeting the Dallas Mavericks on neutral ground in Las Vegas on October 15.
The team will conclude its preseason on October 17 against the Sacramento Kings in Los Angeles. That game will start at 7:30 p.m.
This preseason will be Redick’s first opportunity to coach a retooled roster headlined by LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Deandre Ayton.
Doncic, acquired in a blockbuster deal during the 2024–25 season, is entering his first full campaign with the franchise.
Second-year guard Bronny James and two-way rookie Eric Dixon are expected to see extended minutes during exhibition play, especially with development being a stated priority for the front office.
The organization also drafted Australian forward Lachlan Olbrich with the No. 55 pick, and acquired Adou Thiero at No. 36 through a seven-team trade completed on July 6.
Los Angeles will not face any Eastern Conference teams during the preseason. All six games will be against familiar Pacific Division rivals or Western Conference opponents.
