The Los Angeles Lakers have officially signed No. 36 pick Adou Thiero to a three-year, $5.95 million contract, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

The deal includes two fully guaranteed seasons and a third-year team option, giving the Lakers flexibility while securing the versatile forward for the near future.

Thiero, 21, was drafted by the Brooklyn Nets before his rights were traded to the Lakers, who moved up in the second round to land him.

The 6-foot-6 wing delivered a standout junior season at Arkansas, averaging 15.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.6 steals while shooting 54.5% from the field.

Before transferring to Arkansas, Thiero played two seasons at Kentucky, where he gradually increased his production and earned a starting role by his sophomore year.

His career trajectory took a significant leap in 2024–25 when he became one of Arkansas’ leaders.
