The Portland Trail Blazers are locking in center Duop Reath for another season, fully guaranteeing his $2.22 million salary for 2025-26, according to HoopsHype insider Michael Scotto.

Reath, 29, has spent the last two years in Portland, providing depth at the five and bringing floor-spacing ability with his shooting touch.

Across 114 NBA games, the Australian big man has averaged 7.1 points and 3.0 rebounds in just under 15 minutes per game, while connecting on 34.8% of his three-point attempts.

In 2023-24, Reath appeared in 68 games and started 20, posting a career-high 9.1 points per contest while shooting 35.9% from deep and 46.1% overall.

His role was reduced in 2024-25, but he remained efficient off the bench, hitting 90.9% of his free throws and offering consistent minutes behind Deandre Ayton and Moses Brown.

Reath’s ability to stretch the floor and defend in space makes him a valuable fit in the Blazers’ second unit, especially as the franchise continues to evaluate young talent.

After going undrafted out of LSU in 2018, Reath built a strong international résumé with stints in Serbia, China, Australia, and Lebanon before signing with Portland in 2023.
