A recent Instagram post featuring LeBron James and Nikola Jokic’s agent, Misko Raznatovic, has fueled NBA rumors about a possible future partnership.
Raznatovic shared photos of a luxury boat trip in St. Tropez with James and business partner Maverick Carter. His caption hinted: “The summer of 2025 is the perfect time to make big plans for the fall of 2026!”
This message has sparked wide speculation about LeBron potentially joining the Denver Nuggets.
LeBron opted into his $52.6 million player option for the 2025-26 season, keeping him with the Lakers for now but leaving open the possibility of a move.
His agent, Rich Paul, has emphasized LeBron’s ongoing desire to compete for championships, making offseason roster decisions a key factor.
Teams like Cleveland, Dallas, Golden State, and New York have been mentioned as potential destinations. Denver has emerged as a dark horse due to the prospect of pairing LeBron with Jokic.
However, salary cap constraints complicate Denver’s ability to add another superstar. Jokic’s $59 million salary, plus Jamal Murray’s $50.1 million and other large contracts, limit flexibility.
Still, some insiders believe LeBron might accept a smaller salary to chase a fifth ring alongside the reigning champions.
Zach Lowe commented on the post, advising caution against reading too much into it. He noted any “big plans for fall 2026” likely do not center on the NBA, and the Instagram moment should not be seen as a sign of LeBron leaving the Lakers imminently.
