Nikola Vucevic’s NBA career could be nearing its end, as several top European teams are reportedly monitoring his situation closely.
According to SportKlub, EuroLeague clubs have begun evaluating the 34-year-old big man’s availability, with Crvena Zvezda and Panathinaikos among those keeping tabs.
The Chicago Bulls have struggled to find a trade partner for Vucevic, despite exploring options for over a year.
Vucevic is in the final year of a three-year, $60 million contract and remains a productive contributor, averaging 18.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, and shooting 40.2% from deep in the 2024–25 season.
However, as the Bulls retool their roster, moving off veteran contracts has become a priority, particularly with no long-term plans tied to the Montenegrin center.
Marc Stein, speaking to CHGO Sports, pushed back on the notion that there is no NBA interest in Vucevic, noting that playoff-caliber teams may still pursue him closer to the February deadline.
Stein pointed to Vucevic’s durability, floor spacing, and 20-and-10 potential as assets that remain valuable in today’s league.
He also highlighted Chicago’s limited depth at center, suggesting the front office has little incentive to make a premature move unless the return is favorable.
