AS Monaco has secured the signature of former EuroLeague MVP Nikola Mirotic, the club officially announced on Friday.
Mirotic joins Roca Team after a standout season with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, where he averaged 17.7 points and 6.4 rebounds in 30 EuroLeague games.
The 34-year-old ranked third in the league in performance index rating (22.0) and was seventh in fouls drawn per game (4.9), helping Milan capture the 2024 Italian League title.
This marks the fourth stop in Mirotic’s EuroLeague career, following previous stints with Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Milan.
Born in Montenegro and developed in Spain, Mirotic debuted with Real Madrid in 2009 and quickly became a top talent, winning back-to-back EuroLeague Rising Star awards in 2011 and 2012.
He earned All-EuroLeague Second Team honors in 2013 and 2014 before making the jump to the NBA, where he played for the Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Mirotic returned to Europe in 2019 to join Barcelona, where he collected multiple domestic titles and was named the EuroLeague MVP in 2021–22.
During his EuroLeague career, he has been selected to six All-EuroLeague teams and holds the all-time record with seven MVP of the Month awards.
He currently ranks sixth in EuroLeague history in total points (4,068), fifth in free throws made (984), 10th in rebounds (1,459), and fifth in overall PIR (4,844).
