The Toronto Raptors have officially guaranteed Jamison Battle’s salary for the 2025–26 season, ensuring the promising forward remains part of their long-term plans.

Battle, 24, was present at the team’s practice on Wednesday, which, according to Sportsnet’s Michael Grange, signaled the Raptors exercised their team option on his contract. “Good for him, great result for an undrafted guy who was a Summer League invite this time last summer,” Grange wrote on X.

After going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, Battle signed with Toronto on July 16 and initially joined the roster on a two-way contract. By February 7, the Raptors converted his deal into a standard three-year, $5.3 million contract.

The 6-foot-7 forward made a strong impression during his rookie campaign, appearing in 59 games and starting 10. He averaged 7.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and shot 40.5% from three-point range in 17.7 minutes per game.

Battle’s breakout moment came on November 27, when he poured in a career-high 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting—including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc—in a commanding win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

He also spent time in the G League, where he averaged 12.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists across 17 games for Toronto’s affiliate, shooting an efficient 49% from the field and 44.8% from deep.
