Tre Mann and the Charlotte Hornets have finalized a three-year, $24 million contract, securing the young guard’s place in their backcourt rotation.
Mann was originally acquired by Charlotte from the Oklahoma City Thunder at the 2024 trade deadline in the deal that sent Gordon Hayward to OKC.
Despite a limited sample size due to a back injury, Mann impressed in his 13 appearances with the Hornets, averaging 14.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in just under 25 minutes per game.
His scoring ability and quickness gave Charlotte a needed offensive spark in the backcourt.
Mann, selected 18th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Thunder, was a standout at the University of Florida.
Still just 24 years old, Mann’s new contract reflects Charlotte’s confidence in his upside and potential to develop into a key contributor as they reshape their roster.
