The Milwaukee Bucks have signed veteran guard Gary Harris to a two-year contract, giving them another experienced wing as they reshape their roster ahead of the 2025-26 season.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Harris’ deal includes a player option for the second year, providing flexibility for both the player and the organization.
The 30-year-old spent the past five seasons with the Orlando Magic, serving primarily as a rotation piece. During the 2024-25 campaign, he appeared in 48 games and averaged 3.0 points in 14.8 minutes per contest while shooting 35.6 percent from three-point range.
Milwaukee finished 48-34 last season and entered the summer with a clear focus on adding perimeter depth and defensive versatility. Harris brings playoff experience and a history of being a steady contributor during his earlier years with the Denver Nuggets.
Over his 11-year NBA career, the former Michigan State standout has played 618 regular season games and owns career averages of 10.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. His best statistical season came in 2017-18 when he averaged 17.5 points for Denver on 48.5 percent shooting.
Harris has also appeared in 39 playoff games, including 14 starts during the Nuggets’ 2019 postseason run. Despite declining offensive numbers in recent years, he remains a reliable on-ball defender and low-turnover player.
