Bruce Brown Jr. has agreed to a one-year contract with the Denver Nuggets, ESPN insider Shams Charania reported. The 28-year-old forward, who was part of Denver’s 2023 NBA championship team, is returning to the franchise.

Brown’s signing came shortly after the Nuggets completed a trade to acquire Cam Johnson, sending Michael Porter Jr. to the Brooklyn Nets.

Brown played 80 games for Denver in the 2022-23 season, averaging 11.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. His all-around play and defensive versatility were key factors during the Nuggets’ title run.

In the 2024-25 season, Brown has split time between Toronto and New Orleans, averaging 8.3 points and 4 rebounds across 41 games. His return to Denver reunites him with a familiar system and teammates.

The forward originally signed a two-year, $45 million deal before being traded during the season.
