The Dallas Mavericks have signed former Gonzaga point guard Ryan Nembhard to a two-way contract, according to a report by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Nembhard, the younger brother of Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard, went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft before landing a deal with Dallas.

The 6-foot guard spent two years at Creighton before transferring to Gonzaga for his final two collegiate seasons.

In 2024–25, Nembhard averaged 10.5 points, 9.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 44.6% from the field and 40.4% from beyond the arc.

His 9.8 assists per game ranked among the top in the nation.

Over his four-year college career, Nembhard appeared in 134 games, all as a starter, and averaged 11.7 points and 6.6 assists.

Dallas, which finished 39–43 last season and secured the final Western Conference play-in spot, is continuing to add young talent following its selection of Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick.

As a two-way player, Nembhard will split time between the Mavericks and their G League affiliate, the Texas Legends.

His older brother, Andrew, is currently a key rotational piece for the Pacers, who reached the 2025 NBA Finals before falling to the Thunder in seven games.

With two-way players eligible to appear in up to 50 NBA games, Nembhard will likely have opportunities to earn rotation minutes if injuries or schedule demands arise.
