With the NBA officially approving the sale of the Minnesota Timberwolves, former majority owners Glen and Becky Taylor have shared a heartfelt message expressing their gratitude to the team’s fans.
Issued through an official Timberwolves press release, the Taylors reflected on their time with the franchise and reassured supporters about the team’s strong position moving forward.
Under the Taylors’ ownership, the Timberwolves have developed into a promising contender, anchored by the All-NBA star guard Anthony Edwards and energized by back-to-back appearances in the Western Conference Finals.
Despite stepping away from their ownership roles, Glen and Becky emphasized their ongoing connection to both the organization and the Minnesota community.
“Though we are stepping away as owners, our love for this organization and this community remains as strong as ever,” the Taylors wrote. “We will always be fans, cheering from our seats, celebrating your triumphs, and believing in what comes next.”
