The Denver Nuggets have begun a new chapter in their basketball operations, appointing Ben Tenzer and Jon Wallace to leadership positions ahead of the 2025–26 NBA season.
As reported by Shams Charania, Tenzer has been promoted to executive vice president of basketball operations. Wallace, formerly with the Minnesota Timberwolves, has been hired as executive vice president of player personnel.
Both executives will report directly to team president Josh Kroenke.
The addition of Tenzer and Wallace completes a full overhaul of Denver’s leadership group heading into its 50th NBA season.
Tenzer has served within the Nuggets’ front office for several years, gradually rising through the ranks and working closely with both Kroenke and former GM Calvin Booth.
Wallace arrives from Minnesota, where he played a key role in the Timberwolves’ recent roster construction and playoff run.
Denver finished the 2024–25 regular season tied for third in the Western Conference with a 50–32 record.
The Nuggets eliminated the Clippers in a seven-game first-round series before falling to the Thunder in Game 7 of the conference semifinals.
