Yorgos Bartzokas and Maroussi are reported to have agreed terms and the announcement is expected soon. Bartzokas has worked in Maroussi before, both as a coach and a player and has the trust of the management.
Bartzokas took the place of Soulis Markopoulos, the coach that lead Marousi to the most successful season of their history and to Euroleague participation in the qualifying rounds. Markopoulos signed with PAOK Thessaloniki and probably left Maroussi due to the heavily reduced budget of the next season.
