Oklahoma City Thunder guard-forward Jalen Williams was fined $25,000 by the NBA for wearing clothing with profane language during a postgame media session. The league announced the fine on Monday, following the Thunder’s 125-93 victory over the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of their conference semifinals.

Williams wore a T-shirt displaying the phrase “F*CK ART LET’S DANCE” after the game at Paycom Center. The league’s President of Operations, Byron Spruell, confirmed the penalty was issued due to the inappropriate language visible to the media.

The Thunder held the best record in the Western Conference at 68-14. This decisive playoff win over the Nuggets, who finished the regular season at 50-32, advances Oklahoma City further in the postseason.

The NBA maintains strict rules regarding player conduct and public appearances, especially during media interactions. Williams’ choice of attire was deemed a violation of league standards for professionalism and decorum.

Oklahoma City’s strong season continues as the team aims to convert its regular-season success into a championship run. Williams, a key contributor for the Thunder, remains a player to watch despite this off-court issue.
