One of the three Olympic Qualifying Tournament cities is in danger of possibly being cancelled due to an ongoing issue involving FIBA and the Adriatic League.

The Belgrade chapter of the tournament, that will determine one of the team’s that advances to the Rio Olympics this summer is rumoured to be on the verge of cancellation as the Adriatic League continues to ponder its decision whether or not to sign with the FIBA-backed Basketball Champions League, as reported by Serbian newspaper Sportski Zurnal.

The Olympic Qualifying Tournament is due to commence on July 4 and run through to July 10. Manila and Turin are the other host cities involved.
