Orlando Magic forwards Tristan Da Silva and Franz Wagner have earned spots on Germany’s preliminary squad for this summer’s EuroBasket tournament, as reported by Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel.

Wagner, who played a crucial role in Germany’s impressive third-place finish in the 2022 edition of the competition, is once again expected to be a key contributor for the national team.

Joining him on the 16-man preliminary roster are fellow NBA players Dennis Schroder and Daniel Theis, both of whom bring valuable experience to the squad.

However, before the tournament officially begins, the roster will need to be trimmed down to a final group of 12 players.

Adding to the Magic’s international presence, team assistant coach Randy Gregory will also be involved in EuroBasket, serving as an assistant coach for the German national team during the tournament.

In addition to the Magic’s representation with Germany, Orlando center Goga Bitadze will suit up for his home country, the Republic of Georgia, at the same event.

This year’s EuroBasket will be held from August 27 to September 14 and will span multiple host countries, including Cyprus, Finland, Poland, and Latvia.
