Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is looking forward to seeing how his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates react in Game 2 on Wednesday following a tough loss in Game 1.

Despite the setback, Gilgeous-Alexander remains optimistic and focused on the challenge ahead. He emphasized the importance of resilience and character in the face of adversity.

“It should be fun,” the player said, expressing his anticipation for the next game. “We’re going to find out what we’re made of, what we’re really made of. Nobody expected it to be smooth sailing this whole journey. No journey in life is, and we know that.”

Although the Thunder were hit with an unexpected loss, especially in such a dramatic fashion, Gilgeous-Alexander remained philosophical about the situation, seeing it as part of the natural ups and downs that come with the game.

“Today’s a bump in the road – unexpected. No one expects to lose, especially that way, but it’s the game of life,” he continued. “So it’s about how you respond to getting knocked down.”

With this mindset, Gilgeous-Alexander is focused on how the team will bounce back from adversity, believing that the true test of a team’s strength comes in moments of challenge.
