The Portland Trail Blazers hosted a predraft workout on Tuesday, showcasing a group of notable prospects as they evaluate talent ahead of the upcoming NBA Draft.
According to Aaron Fentress of The Oregonian, the workout included players from a range of college and international teams: Devon Pryor from Oregon, Rueben Chinyelu from Florida, Ben Henshall from the Perth Wildcats, Dink Pate from the Mexico City Capitanes, John Blackwell from Wisconsin, and Lachlan Olbrich from the Illawarra Hawks.
Among these participants, Dink Pate (ranked No. 55) and Ben Henshall (ranked No. 64) are considered the highest-rated prospects, according to ESPN’s “Best Available” list.
Their participation in the workout allows them to showcase their skills and make a strong impression on the Trail Blazers’ front office as the team looks to bolster its roster with young talent.
As the draft approaches, Portland’s continued evaluation of potential picks could lead to exciting additions, with several players from this group still in the mix for a potential selection.
