Duke freshman Kon Knueppel has officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, opting to turn pro after just one collegiate season. The sharpshooting wing is widely projected to be a lottery pick, thanks to his well-rounded offensive game and elite shooting touch.
Knueppel made a strong impression during his lone year with the Blue Devils, appearing in 39 games and averaging 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
His shooting efficiency stood out as one of his biggest strengths – he connected on 40.6% of his three-point attempts and an exceptional 91.4% from the free throw line, showcasing his reliability as a perimeter threat.
In addition to his scoring ability, Knueppel displayed poise, basketball IQ, and the kind of polish that NBA teams look for in young wings.
Logging 30.5 minutes per game, he was a key contributor for Duke throughout the season and demonstrated the kind of consistency and skill set that has scouts confident in his potential at the next level.
