University of Florida standout Alex Condon has officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft as an early entry candidate, the school announced.

By entering the draft process while maintaining his college eligibility, Condon keeps the door open to return to Gainesville next season, depending on the feedback he receives from NBA scouts and executives.

Condon, a sophomore, made a significant impact this past season for the Gators, averaging 10.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game.

His contributions were instrumental in helping Florida make a deep tournament run that ultimately led to a national championship appearance, cementing his status as one of the top big men in college basketball.

At 6-foot-11, Condon has drawn attention from NBA teams for his unique blend of size, mobility, and skill.

He has shown the ability to stretch the floor offensively, operate in the post, and make smart passes – all while being a reliable presence as a rim protector on the defensive end.

His versatility has positioned him as a likely late first-round selection in ESPN’s most recent mock draft.

As he navigates pre-draft workouts and evaluations, Condon will have the opportunity to gauge his draft stock and make an informed decision about whether to remain in the draft or return to Florida for another collegiate season.
