Terence Davis expressed genuine gratitude and excitement upon rejoining the Sacramento Kings, a team he previously spent parts of three seasons with from 2021 to 2023.
After a period away from the franchise, the opportunity to return to familiar territory was one Davis embraced.
Speaking to Fox 40 Sacramento’s Sean Cunningham, he shared his appreciation for being welcomed back into an environment where both relationships and memories already exist.
“Any time you come to a familiar place and you have friends and front office guys, teammates that show love to you, it’s awesome, it’s an amazing feeling,” Davis said.
His return is not just about nostalgia – it’s also a chance to build on the impression he left during his initial stint with the Kings.
In 121 games (including 16 starts) with Sacramento, Davis averaged 8.6 points per game, providing energetic scoring, defensive effort, and key contributions off the bench.
Reflecting on his prior time with the team, Davis believes he left a meaningful, if modest, mark – and now he’s eager to add more to that legacy.
“In my case, I feel like I kind of made a small impact on this organization,” he said. “… I’m just thankful.”
Davis has played 4 seasons for the Kings and Raptors. He has averaged 8.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 227 regular-season games.
