Sacramento Kings shooting guard Terence Davis compared head coach Mike Brown to Ole Miss men’s basketball coach Kermit Davis following his 31 point outburst last night vs. the Brooklyn Nets in a 153-121 home win.

“My senior year in college, man. My coach, Kermit Davis. He was on me. It’s similar. I didn’t know how it was gonna affect me on the court. But after I seen it, I love it. I tell coach, man, ‘Tough love is the best love.’ So he embraced that, too. He lets me know how hard he is on me. So I enjoy it, man. Because anytime a coach is like that on you, he wants the best out of you, wants you to perform well. So I enjoy it, man. It’s major, for sure.”
