The Sacramento Kings have brought back guard Terence Davis, as reported by NBA insider Shams Charania. Davis, 27, joins Sacramento once again after a brief stint with the Milwaukee Bucks and the NBA G League’s Wisconsin Herd.
Davis previously played for the Kings from 2021 to 2023. During his time in Sacramento, he averaged 8.5 points per game and was known for his scoring ability and three-point shooting. This season, while with the Wisconsin Herd, he showcased his talents, putting up 14.3 points per game with a solid 40.2% shooting from beyond the arc.
After signing with the Bucks on October 2, 2024, Davis was waived just 13 days later, making his way to the Wisconsin Herd. He has not appeared in an NBA game since 2023, but his time in the G League has helped him stay sharp, and his scoring efficiency will likely be an asset to the Kings.
The Kings’ decision to re-sign Davis comes as part of their effort to bolster their roster and add depth at the guard position. With Sacramento’s playoff hopes alive and well this season, Davis brings valuable experience and the ability to stretch the floor with his three-point shooting.
Sacramento currently holds a 39-40 record and sits at the 9th spot in the Western Conference standings. The Kings are fighting for a playoff position as the regular season winds down, making this signing even more significant.
For Davis, this represents another opportunity to prove himself in the NBA.
