New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson has been sidelined since March 6 due to a sprained ankle, but he is now progressing toward a return before the season ends.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Brunson shared that he is “feeling better” and has been cleared for basketball activities.

However, he emphasized that there is still no set timetable for his return to game action.

The veteran guard expressed hope that he will be able to play before the regular season concludes on April 13.

That said, his primary focus is ensuring he is fully healthy for the start of the playoffs, which begin in three weeks.

During Brunson’s absence, the Knicks have posted a 6-5 record in 11 games.

With the team having already secured a top-six seed in the Eastern Conference and an automatic playoff berth, their highest possible finish in the standings is the third seed.
