P.J. Tucker’s second 10-day contract with the New York Knicks ended on Sunday. If the Knicks wish to retain him, they would have to offer him a contract for the remainder of the season.

At this stage, it appears that New York is opting to keep their final roster spot vacant. However, Tucker could make a return before the regular season concludes.

The deadline for teams to finalize player signings is April 13, the last day of the regular season.

Currently, the Knicks do not have a clear-cut two-way player to convert into a standard contract, which leaves the door open for Tucker’s potential return.

Alternatively, the team might choose to hold onto the spot to address any emerging needs at a different position.
