New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson received one of the highest placements in ESPN’s latest ranking of NBA players, coming in at No. 6 overall.
The seven-person panel consisted of Ben Golliver, Vincent Goodwill, Zach Kram, Bobby Marks, Dave McMenamin, André Snellings and Matt “Stats” Williams.
Only Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo finished ahead of the Knicks guard.
Brunson’s ranking followed another productive season in New York.
He has now averaged at least 26 points per game in three consecutive seasons while shooting at least 46.7% from the field and 36.9% from three-point range.
He also led the Knicks to the NBA championship, earning Finals MVP as New York defeated the San Antonio Spurs in five games.
