The New York Knicks are bringing back PJ Tucker on a second 10-day contract, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Post.

Tucker, who signed his first short-term deal with the Knicks earlier this month, has appeared in just one game so far, logging two minutes without recording any stats.

The 39-year-old veteran was waived by the Toronto Raptors after multiple trades this season, starting the year with the Los Angeles Clippers before brief stints with the Utah Jazz and Toronto.

Despite his limited role, Tucker’s defensive presence and playoff experience provide valuable depth for New York, which is currently third in the Eastern Conference with a 43-26 record.

A 2021 NBA champion with the Milwaukee Bucks, Tucker has built a reputation as a tough defender and locker-room leader, traits the Knicks hope will bolster their postseason push.

New York will continue evaluating his fit before deciding whether to offer him a rest-of-season contract.
