The Brooklyn Nets snapped a three-game losing streak with a 122-114 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night.
Cam Johnson led Brooklyn with 28 points, hitting 4-of-8 from beyond the arc and making all 10 of his free throws. Keon Johnson added 22 points and five assists, helping the Nets (23-45) erase a double-digit deficit in the second half.
Tyrese Martin chipped in 16 points, while Jalen Wilson and Trendon Watford each scored 13 for Brooklyn. The Nets entered the fourth quarter with a one-point lead before pulling away with a 31-22 advantage in the final period.
Trae Young paced the Hawks (32-36) with 28 points and 12 assists but struggled with turnovers, committing six in the loss. Onyeka Okongwu posted a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds, but Atlanta’s offense faltered in the closing stretch.
Brooklyn trailed by 10 in the third quarter but responded with a late push to enter the final frame down by just one. A 10-0 surge midway through the fourth, capped by Keon Johnson’s three-pointer, gave the Nets a commanding 109-98 lead with under seven minutes remaining.
