Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey has not ruled out a potential return this season as he continues to recover from a broken left fibula.
Ivey, who remains day-to-day, expressed optimism about his recovery but emphasized that his return will depend on how his body responds. “The time will come when my body says get ready,” he said, adding that he “hopefully” will be back before the season ends.
The 23-year-old was enjoying a strong second year before the injury, averaging a career-high 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4 assists in 29.9 minutes per game. His performance helped the Pistons stay competitive in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Detroit currently holds a 37-30 record, sitting sixth in the East with a 6-4 mark in their last ten games. The team has remained in postseason contention despite injuries and will be closely monitoring Ivey’s progress in the coming weeks.
