Toronto Raptors star Brandon Ingram is making noticeable progress in his recovery from a serious left ankle sprain.

Though he is continuing to ramp up his on-court activities, he is still limited to solo drills and has not yet returned to full team practices.

Ingram is scheduled to be re-evaluated in two weeks to assess the next steps in his recovery process.

Ingram was acquired by the Raptors at the trade deadline from the New Orleans Pelicans, a move that marked a significant shift in the team’s roster.

Shortly after the trade, Toronto and Ingram agreed to a lucrative three-year, $120 million extension, which will take effect starting next season.

Although Ingram has yet to make his debut for the Raptors, the team is already planning around his future role.

The Raptors view him as a central figure for their long-term plans and expect him to form a dynamic trio with fellow forwards Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett.

Together, the three are projected to create a flexible, switchable, and versatile lineup capable of covering multiple positions across the forward and wing spots.
